Introducing our new Head of Engineering Dimitri Koubaroulis
I’m thrilled to welcome Dimitri Koubaroulis as Q-CTRL’s Head of Engineering! Dimitri brings with him a wealth of experience in engineering leadership, software development and machine learning R&D.
Dimitri joins us from Australian tech unicorn, SafetyCulture, where he excelled at leading their flagship product engineering team and advancing their SaaS, IoT and AI-powered technology offerings. There, Dimitri was known for his dynamic approach to leadership, seamlessly integrating roles across technology, product development, and people management. I’m excited for what this multifaceted approach and his dedication to delivery and innovation will bring to Q-CTRL.
In his new role as Head of Engineering, Dimitri will steer Q-CTRL’s engineering team toward new heights in building our platform and quantum infrastructure software products. As quantum technology companies scale, they are increasingly running into the need for creative engineering solutions as often as quantum R&D breakthroughs. Dimitri’s extensive background in a rapidly growing tech company positions him perfectly for this critical role as we scale.
“I am excited to embark on this journey with Q-CTRL, a company that is redefining the frontiers of quantum computing and quantum sensing,” said Dimitri. “Leading the engineering team in such an innovative, fast-paced environment is a challenge I am ready to take on. I look forward to leveraging my experience to contribute to the cutting-edge work at Q-CTRL, as it scales to realize its inspiring vision.”
Dimitri joins us at an exciting time as we expand our commercial traction and capabilities in quantum technology. His expertise in software engineering, combined with his innovative approach to SaaS, IoT and AI-powered technologies, will be invaluable. His leadership qualities and vision are exactly what we need to drive our engineering efforts forward.
Outside of the office, Dimitri enjoys teaching Byzantine Chant and playing music from the Eastern Mediterranean region. He will be a valued addition to the technical team, and we are excited to have him be a part of Q-CTRL.
