Last month Michael Hush, Chief Scientific Officer at Q-CTRL and Yuval Baum, Lead Quantum Automation Scientist at Q-CTRL hosted our automated closed-loop optimizations webinar. The webinar covered our ground-breaking new AI-based tools that enable quantum computers to self-tune for unparalleled results, all available in BOULDER OPAL. Essentially our team of researchers is leveraging machine learning to accelerate the performance of quantum computing hardware - and all without the need for human intervention. We had 100s register and attend, and the participants asked some great questions! Building infrastructure software to support the future of cloud quantum computing with Rigetti Quil-T

We’re excited to announce that Q-CTRL is one of the first commercial partners with leveraging Rigetti’s Quil-T, an extension to their quantum instruction language (Quil) that significantly enhances the capabilities of their stack. Quil-T gives full control over the analog signals defining the machine language on hardware. In this blog post, we describe projects led by the Q-CTRL team leveraging our early access to the new Quil-T analog-layer programming API to improve the performance of Rigetti hardware.
